Introduction and welcome….
When I took the step from salesperson to principal, it was in one of Australia’s largest real estate offices, on Queensland’s Gold Coast. I was lucky to be working with two very experienced partners but it was still a steep learning curve.
When I left that business, I ran my own consulting and coaching business for six years. I was fortunate to work with literally hundreds of principals and thousands of salespeople, across lots of different groups and independent offices. I worked in every state of Australia and New Zealand as well.
Both of these experiences gave me a real 360 degrees understanding of the industry and its needs.
A year or so ago I made the decision to join the Ray White Group and work with them exclusively. It felt like the natural next step for me - I have a tremendous amount of respect for the White family and the management team. I felt it was a great opportunity to be involved strategically in a large real estate group and have real impact.
My role is to grow the business, and that’s all about partnering with the right people. People who have the same intentions as the group does - to grow, to be dynamic, to be at the forefront of the real estate industry in Australia and New Zealand.
In my previous roles, I often had people asking me where they could find independent information to help them decide on the next step - whether that was in starting a business or overcoming challenges in an existing business. Up until now I never had an answer, but it was always clear there was a real need in our industry for quality, independent information.
One of the things I get to do with the launch of this website is help educate people about running a real estate business.
Obviously there is Ray White specific information here too, but as well as that you’ll find a host of other independent information that will be useful to you whatever you ultimately decide is best for you.
